Coming off the 4th of July I would be less than honest if I didn't share with you the excitement I have for our upcoming Lori Piestewa National Native American Games. We must never forget the history of all of the military personnel that have put their lives on the line to give the rest of America the chance to enjoy our freedom.
I view the Piestewa Games as not only a tribute to Lori but also, in our own way, a thank you to all of those that have fought for our country.
It is no secret that I do the Native Games as the "Crowning Jewel" of a our year long, state and nationwide format. A heartfelt thank you to all that participate in this unique opportunity.
